Merry Christmas!

I'm at work today, Christmas eve. :( However it does make for some fun with the co-workers. Matt and I for instance had a little fun adding some spark to our get up today. Matt's shirt says "Jingle my bells" and I got these light up antlers from my mom! Hope everyone has a safe and very Merry Christmas!

Christmas... and a new addition

My sister had her sweet little baby on December 1st! He's so adorable, with really cute chubby cheeks. However the rest of him is really small! He's such a good baby! He's named Steven Charles Atkinson. My dad's name is Steven and my brother-in-laws dad's name is Charles so he's named after the two grandpas. He was 6 lbs 15 oz and was 19 inches long.
After the november fest shayna and I made a christmas countdown craft... They turned out so cute!
This year I've decordated 4 trees! I helped Jason at my house, I decorated my mom's, my work and 3 pencil trees. They all turned out great. I only have pictures of a few of them and they are all from my phone so they aren't the best quality photos.

Thanksgiving

We had a good thanksgiving at my moms! My grandpa had been in the hospital and is home. He couldn't come over but my grandma did.... her's a picture of her and I.

Birthday

So this is only a month late... For my birthday I got some speakers for my computer/ipod, a hoody, beanie, 2 beaver mountain ski lift tickets, shirt, scrapbook stuff, gift card to kohls, board shorts made out of a towel (way cool, Misha is amazing I'd never be able to sew those), and money. Here's my birthday pictures. It's not all of them but oh well.

Stacey, Max, Daisy and Shayna. Max was afraid of Daisy and now he just doesn't like her. :(
Most of the girls... Megan, Julie, Stacey, Alexis, Megan and Misha

Birthday and going to the gym...

Yesterday was my 26th birthday! Man I'm getting old. I'm on the down hill slop of the 20's! It was a great birthday! I got breakfast on my desk when I got to work from my best friend, flowers from Jason at work, my mom and sister took me to lunch, I visited my grandpa in the hopsital, taught dance, ate pizza with Jason for dinner, watched twilight and got some great gifts. Jason's got a birthday party planned for tonight which i have no idea what's going on other than to be home before 7! He's great and i'm excited to see what's going on! I'll be sure to get some pictures tonight and post. All of my best friends either called, emailed, text me or wrote on facebook to wish me a happy birthday! I'm so thankful for all of the people in my life. November is a special month for me. Of course because it's my birthday but also because Thanksgiving is a special holiday! I love Thanksgiving, great food, family, friends, traditions, showing thanks for all the blessings in my life, the great fall colors and about every 4 years it lands on my dad's birthday the 23rd! This year we get to spend Thanksgiving at my mom's so I'm excited to see all my family.

A few guys at work and I are going to the gym every friday MORNING! Today we met at 6:30, next week I'll have to go in a little early and leave earlier than them. Girls just take longer to get ready and not be late for work! :) I'm trying to get into shape, snowboard season is right around the corner! And then summer will be here before i know it! :) YAY!

Moab

We needed a weekend away so we took off to Moab. A guy at work knows Moab really well and helped me plan a few things to do. Friday night we got there around 7, went to dinner, got in the hot tub and lounged around. Saturday we went through Long Canyon, Dead Horse Point, Canyon Lands, Mesa Arch, Shaffers trail, and Corona Arch, as well as dinner and some shopping. Sunday we got up and went to Arches for a little bit and then headed home. Here are just a few pictures from the beautiful scenery! It was about 83° on Saturday. Then we come home to 47° weather... ouch! We had a great time.

Halloween at Work

Every year my work dresses up and goes to lunch! This year we went to sizzler! The 4 girls in the office dressed up as M&M's! It was a of fun! Jen's sister made our costumes, which were awesome! We each had a candy dish on our desks with our color of M&M's. My boss, his wife, 2 kids, their nanny and his father in law all dressed up as the Mystery Inc crew (scooby, shaggy, etc). They were great! Mack, Alli, Jen and Stacey

Fred, Shaggy, The Van, Daphnie, Velma, and Scooby.

The whole gang!

I'll post pictures of the other parties when I steal photos from Julie, Alexis and Shayna since I forgot my camera both friday and saturday night! :( ugh.

H1N1 - Swine Flu

Well it was inevitable, I guess. Since Jason is so accident prone I guess getting sick is in that catagory as well. Tuesday Jason came down with a cold. We didn't think much of it. It kept getting worse though so Thurdsday he went to his family doctor who did a few tests and then sent him to Logan Regional Hospital to be admitted overnight with most likey the H1N1, swine flu.

He spent the night in a clean room. It took them 8 tries to get a IV in him. I guess since he was so dehydrated his veins wouldn't cooperate. His doctor told him he did have the swine flu. They exrayed his chest and his lungs looked good. He got discharged today at about 10:30 AM. We went home and took a nap. At about 3:00 i woke up feeling horrible. I went up to Insta Care. The doctor decided not to run H1N1 Tests since Jason already had it and I had most of the symptoms. I was at insta care for about 3 hours. They were really slow. The pharmacy there had issues with our insurance not wanting to pay for my prescriptions. (I hate insurance by the way. They are great until you reach your deductible then they try to get out of everything!) Anyways. We're home now and basically quarantined here until we feel better. Jason's doctor is having him come back in on Tuesday for a check up. The insta Care doctor said I would most likely be home till Friday.

Yuck! Keep washing your hands!

5 Posts in 1 Night! Yikes

Yes. I did 5 posts tonight. Man am I behind or what? I'll try to be better at posting but no promises! My sisters birthday was yesterday! I can't believe she's 22. That's crazy! Happy birthday little sis.

My work laid 5 people off a few weeks ago. I survived but it was hard to see those people go. I'm sure glad I'm not the boss. I don't know how they do it. I love my job and wouldn't trade it for anything at the moment. I have the best boss's ever and the people and enviroment are awesome. I'm so thankful to have a job and a great one at that.

Jason's hand is healed! Yay!

We had the homecoming parade yesterday for dance. It was really hot! Despite a few music complications it went well!

I'm in the process of making a friends and family cook book for my Grandma Riggs for Christmas (so if you know her, keep this a secret!) If you have any recipes you'd like to give me to put in it I'm taking any I can get! email me.... jsmoss@q.com Also if you would like a cookbook I'll me making extras you buy at cost.

Andy and Misha's Baby

Our very good friends Andy and Misha had their baby on August 31st. She is adorable and already has both of them wrapped around her fingers. :) Kira McBride Hansen was 7 lbs 12 oz.... I think. Kira and very happy Daddy
So cute!

Klay - he didn't want to hold her! I had to make him!

Jason

We are so very happy for Andy and Misha. Baby Kira is adorable. I'm sure being a new parent is no easy task. The never ending sleepless nights, ups and downs with Kira take their toll. But i'm sure it's all worth it in the end. She's perfect you guys! Congrats!

Park City

We went to the Park City Home Show with Jason's parents! It was alot of fun. Almost every home was over 2 millon (most by a few more millon). Only 1 was under and it as a town home for 1.5 i believe. The most expensive was 8 mil. Amazing homes! Now I want to remodel! :) They have a no photo policy but i managed to get only a few on my phone. I'll post those later. And our hotel room was beautiful! 5 star for sure. I got a lot of photos of it... We stay ed at the Westgate at the Canyons. We had a 1 bedroom suite connected to a larger suite with Jason's parents. It was so nice. We had a full, small kitchen. Jason's parents had a full and wonderful kitchen with a large kitchen table. They had a living room with a flat screen tv and two couches. Their bedroom was large with a big jetted tub. There was a washer/dryer. Our room was nice with a king size bed and a flat screen tv. Each bathroom had a great shower with a steamer and a large shower head. Here are just a few photos!

Cousin's Wedding

My mom, Steph, Shayna, Jaycie, Dylan and I drove up to Caldwell/Nampa ID in August to go to my cousin Emi's Wedding. She was a beautiful bride! We don't get to see her or her sister Nicole too often and it was nice. Nicole and her husband Carson are expecting their first baby in Feb. Emi and Scott's wedding turned out great! Emi and Nicole
