USU Homecoming

A few weeks ago Andy and I went to the USU homecoming Parade with my sister, Collin and Brady. We watched for Kira on the La Shars float and watched my old dance studio Rhythm Connection.

It was a fun morning.

A little about what we've been up to...

Kira and Collin playing on the 4 wheeler

Grandma had knee surgery and is in recovery for 6 weeks.

Towed Andy's Jeep Project to our house. It's been in his dad's garage for over 2 years! He's so excited to have space to work on it and I'm so excited for it to be done so we can use it!

Your prob asking who's car this is, right? Well that's the car that rear ended me on Thursday. I was on my way to a massage appointment and this happened. Needless to say my entire lunch break was spent waiting on the cop to fill out paperwork. Her car wasn't too lucky but the jeep looks ok... We'll be having someone check it out just in case.

Baby shower for this lucky lady.

Andy, Kira, Chris and I went to the derby. It's been a while since we've been to a derby, was a lot of fun.

Home Sweet Home ... for 1

Well we've lived in our house for a month! Can you believe it? I sure can't. Time flies so fast when you aren't paying attention. We've made some great improvements already! The bedroom is painted, flowers are hung up and more are planted, the shop floor is epoxy painted and we have plans for more to come. We've purchased some new furniture and items to fill this bigger house: new bedroom set, couch and love seat, new dishes and cups, storage system for the garage, but we've also been able to combine all of our own furniture and items from two houses into one. We (well mostly me) have room to put everything I own. My house in Nibley was full of furniture, decorations , scrapbook stuff and more... plus when I lived at my mom's I had TONS of room to keep collecting as I like to call it. Andy has room for all of his tools, projects, and equipment in his own backyard. He can work on projects at home We are loving this place.

Technically we've been in for 34 days. Of those 34 days I've been here alone for 20 days. :( kinda sad when you think about it. Having a great home is one thing but having someone here to share it with is something even more important. Here's to hoping Andy gets to be home to enjoy this new house more and I guess I get lucky enough to see him more. I sure know Kira would love to see her daddy more.

Pictures!

When we moved into our new house I told Andy that if he got the shop then I got a room for my Photography Studio ... well I got just that! Technically it's the biggest bedroom in the house and it's an extremely nice room. Eventually I'm sure we'll do something else with it but for now it's mine :) and oh boy do I have plans for it! BUT - for now I'll settle with my backdrops, lights, and props. I got to officially use my studio to take pictures of this adorable little girl for her 4th birthday.

check out more pictures of this session at my blog

Pretty Pretty Princess turns 4!

Kira has turned four! It was a grand event! Kira's dad and mom decided to do a joint party this year. It was lot of fun and the kids loved it. Misha planned a bunch of fun activities for boys and girls. Andy and I brought the Cakes, ice cream, did invitations and the shields/swords (compliments of Andy's best friend). Misha did the rest. It was lot of fun. Kira is one spoiled little princess.

Dressing up as knights, princesses and decorating their shields, swords and crowns.

Jumping the Mote - it got bigger each time and they had to jump farther.

They did a matching game and got to find all the characters in their assigned movie and then got to color them.

All the kids

The dragon needed slayed even!

Kira and Collin - He sure loves her.
