Andy and I had my parents, sister and her kids over for dinner yesterday. My mom has been cooking family dinner every sunday so we decided to take a turn. I made my signature pasta and pull apart bread and a simple green salad. It was delicious... but watching Steven play with a snake took the night. Andy's house is known as a swampy area and we have a TON of snakes. I have almost stepped on them without shoes and I freak out. I HATE SNAKES. Well Andy and Steven were playing out side and they found a snake. Andy put it in one of the flower pots and then Steven played with it. He'd let it go on the grass and chase it around until he caught it again. It was cute to watch but pretty gross! Once Kira came over we played outside some more and then the kids headed inside to watch a movie while the adults relaxed on the deck. It was a wonderful evening.

As most of you know I love scrapbooking. I have loved scrapbooking for many many years. Recently I haven't spent as much time scrapbooking as I'd like but I'm slowly getting back into it. I also have A TON of stuff! I started to make some pre made scrapbook layouts a few years ago for my sisters and a few friends. I decided to start using some of my inventory and trying to get rid of it. Here's the first few I've made. I am starting at $7 each for a 2 page 12 x 12 layout. It's negotiable though so if you are interseted or know someone that is let me know. I also can do custom orders if you have certain colors, # of pictures, directions of pictures, etc.

This little girl is hard to photograph. She gives grumpy and funny faces instead of cute smiles; but she is finally 3 years old! Andy and I threw her birthday party on the 1st of Sept. We got a bounce house for the kids to enjoy and had a back yard party. The kids and the adults had a lot of fun. Kira is well stocked up on toys and clothes for a while. She loves Daddy's house. Kira loves cousin Kade, Baby Collin, playing with Steven, barbies, cookies, her doll house and much much more. She is full of personality. Thanks to all those who came, we had so much fun! And thanks Holly Wright Designs for the Cake!

We took Andy's sister and her family boating this week. Kade and Kira always have fun together. We got them out on the tube together and they loved it. Jordan tubed and Andy and I wake boarded. With the boat outdrive fixed (a bearing went out) it pulled and rode A LOT better. Boating always makes for a great time but with fun company it's even better.
To enjoy our Labor Day free of Work, Andy and I took the Jeep for a nice drive. We went to Mantua and up to Willard Peak. There are amazing views. At once spot you can see Cache Valley, Mantua and Pine View - It's Beautiful! Then the final overlook at the top of Willard Peak is awesome. You can see Brigham, Willard, Ogden and practically all the way to Salt Lake. Loved it!
Mary, Kyler, Andy and I went to Flamming Gorge a few weekends ago and had a BLAST! The water was glass almost the entire time except for a little wind. We stayed in Wyoming near Anvil Draw and drove all the way to the dam. It was a beautiful drive, unfortunately I took most of the lake pictures on my phone and I haven't uploaded them yet but I'll add them soon. We wake boarded and enjoyed the perfect lake! Andy bought a new board and took it with us so he got to try that out. It was a great time. Always have an amazing camping adventure with Andy and Mary. Two of my closest friends.
A few weeks ago we went camping with from friends from work. We went up to Willow Flats campground in Idaho. We played in the river which was FREEZING water, went hiking, cooked dutch oven, hung out around the fire, and had a great time. On the way home Andy, Kira and I went for a Jeep drive to the Paris Ice Caves. It was fun to see ice, snow and the cave in the middle of the summer.
We love camping!

Kira's birthday was last week (pictures to come) and she got an Iron Man mask from Everett, Karcher, Jovie and the James Family. She loves it.
I am currently looking at options for Condo's or property purchases and am really interested in Bear Lake so Andy, Kira and I headed to the Bear Lake Parade of Homes. Kira did super good and actually seemed to have fun looking at the "animals" at the houses. We stopped at Bear Lake Pizza for lunch and took some pictures to send to Andy's Parents in New York. (Also pictures to come). I wasn't super impressed with the overall home show but there were two houses I really liked. I looked into property in Bear Lake and WOW. There are so many lots for sale I was amazed. Some really low like $15,000-$20,000 but then again the ones I liked were around $75,000. Oh Stacey, why does everything I like cost so much!
