Relay for Life - Team Captain Meeting | Super Hero Theme!

Tonight is our first Team Captain Meeting for Relay for Life 2014... and I'm giddy. I love Relay, and if you've been reading my blog for a while you've seen multiple posts on Relay. This year our Theme is "Be A SUPERHERO". I love Superhero's and I am so excited to use this theme. I have all sorts of ideas!

I wanted to share this post mainly so I remember it and so I can pin these items and let other Relay'er use the ideas. I found most of these on Pinterest from Super Hero Birthday Parties and then I changed them a bit for Relay. Others I came up with. Enjoy and hopefully they are useful to others!

USU Hockey Game

We had fun last weekend at the USU Hockey game. Kira, Andy and I headed to the game with Megan, Adam and Chris. It was LOUD but we had fun. Kira was actually really good the entire time, I was surprised!

Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day from these two little adorable ones and myself. These guys are always so good to be my guinea pigs for photos, though sometimes they just don't want to smile FOR REAL.

Let's talk about Kira. I love that girl more than words can explain. She probably gets her photo taken from me more than anyone else (Collin may come in right behind her though). She has this adorable but frustrating attitude nearly every time we go into my studio. That little attitude was out 100% for this photo shoot. She gave me every fake smile she could manage. Ha. These first three photos are UNEDITED and show a little bit of her smile really trying to show through her boredom. Gotta love it.

My Valentine

I'm a pretty lucky girl if I can say so. I have this great guy who makes me really happy and I have more fun with him then I've ever had. He's honest to god, my best friend. We don't often talk about our relationship, with ANYONE, even ourselves for the most part. If your're our friends and family your most likely nodding your head about right now thinking "Yeah I keep asking and they always say they don't know"... People are always asking for the inside scoop and there just ins't one. We have been dating for nearly 4 years, off and on of course. About 2 years ago Andy asked me to move in with him, that was the day before we left to go to Disney Land. And technically by the book he didn't ask me to move in, he cleared out half his closet and said I guess it'll be easier for you if you have room to put your clothes. So that sort of started our official relationship, however even back then we didn't title it. I don't think we even really title it now, and we own a house together. We are just like that, and it's both of us. After getting divorced we just changed and we are so similar in some things that we just know what we want and we don't need to label it. So today, I'm thankful I get to call him my valentine and that we seriously understand each other on the level of life that we do. We want so many of the same things it makes our relationship so much easier and effortless. I'm happy to spend my Valentine's day with this amazing guy.
