With no boat! Today Jason and I went to Bear Lake with my sister, her two kids and my mom. We debated on taking the boat, but since my neice Jaycie is afraid and WILL NOT get in the boat that ment it would kinda be pointless to bring it. But man, we had fun with out it! I forget what it's like playing in the water, building sand castles and laying out. With the boat we don't do that stuff all too often. My mom and sister had bought some cheap air mattresses from Walmart and they were a hit! We tried sinking each other and got pulled out really deep... what a blast! In August my family is going to Bear Lake for 4 days for our anual family outting before school starts and I can't wait to go and have more fun with the boat and on the shore!... Maybe I'll wear a little more sunscreen next time since I fried the back of my legs! OUCH!

More water fun...
This past weekend we tried something new with the tubes…. A triple threat, which the guys loved! We had Jason and Andy on the small yellow tubes and Klay in the middle on the bigger orange one. Let me tell you, driving the boat with 3 tubes is no easy task! I had my hands full. Jason and Andy decided to team up on Klay, they both jumped on the orange tube and tried their hardest to get Klay to let go…. But with no success! Klay had a grip for life! None the less, Jason and Andy didn’t fall off either, they both made it back to their own tubes, all with smiling faces and laughing. It was quite fun watching the boys, us girls will have to try this next time!

Our family... of 5
So I've introduced Jason and I and the new puppy, Max, however I've neglected to introduce our other two "kids". So here's our family of 5.
Well that's our family of 5!
This is Bosco - He is about 4 1/2 years old. He's a papered English Springer Spainel. He has HUGE paws, and can jump really high! We adopted him from my boss right after we got married about 4 years ago.
This is Cowboy. He's about 3 years old. He's a per bred chocolate lab. He's very hyper and can run super fast! After having Bosco for about 6 months to a year, Jason decided he needed a friend so he bought Cowboy... and yes they are best friends.
You've met Max already. He's about 3 months old. He's a Shorkie (Half Shiztu/Half Yorkie). He loves to bark at the big dogs. I decided after having two hugh outside dogs I wanted a friend of my own, an inside dog and I got him for mother's day!
Then there's Jason - he's 26. And he's really a kid at heart.
And finally me. I'm 24. Notice me trying to get the 3 dogs to sit still for a picture. Well getting 1 dog to sit still is hard, 2 is really really hard, and 3 is quite impossible!Jason playing fetch with the big boys.
Max had to get involved...
He tried to get the toy... couldn't quite fit it in his mouth though. He gets along great with Bosco and Cowboy. They just sniff at him and leave him alone. He likes to bark at them and chase them around the yard.

Are people looking . . .
Well I've been kinda skeptical about this whole blogging thing. I love reading other people's blogs and seeing pictures! It's fun to see what my old high school friends or my dance girls families are up to, but I wondered if I was only posting for myself or if any one was looking. And since I don't get a whole lot of comments I was even more skeptical. So a few days ago I put up a visitor counter... and to my suprise it looks like alot (well alot to me) of people are stopping by! I was excited! Now I feel like I have a reason to keep posting on here, even if it is about Boating since that's about the extent to my life and my puppy, Max, of course. Who by the way is getting so big! He has learned to sit, lay and stay! So fun... although if he's really hyper he doesn't do any of them very well.
Well I hope everyone out there is enjoying their summer! It's about half way over... which means school starts in like a month and a half! Student Teaching here I come - what's even better is that I'll graduate in about 5 months! YAY! I'm oh so very excited!

Happy Birthday Jason!
Yesterday was Jason's 26th birthday! Seems like every year we celebrate his birthday with our very own fireworks show... put on of course by the guys! We get camp chairs and sit in our drive way and watch the bright lights and listen for the loud poping and cracking noises and of course play with some sparklers! The guys enjoyed playing with the flower fireworks and throwing them at each others feet... they're guys and don't seem to care if they get hurt! Max had fun and did just fine sitting and watching until the guys pulled out some illegal fire crackers... he did not like those! He started shaking and tried to burry his head and crawl on my shoulders. All in all it was a pretty fun night with our friends!
On another note: 5 years ago Jason and I started talking about getting married. The first time we talked about it was on Jason's 21st birthday! Time flies and that seems like just yesterday! I'm so thankful for having Jason in my life. He sure puts up with a lot from me and I love him more and more everyday!

4th of July Weekend!
Well this weekend instead of staying in town for the typical July 4th weekend in Logan and going to the cruise in we went camping and boating at Twin Lakes. Twin Lakes is just up in Clifon ID passed Preston. It took us about an hour to get there so it wasn't a bad drive. The camping there is like an apartment complex... you are really close to your neighbors! We were camping with tents but almost everyone else had trailers... man to live that life! The 4 of us had a blast! The lake was right down from our camp and we got to boat and relax which is always nice. My mom, two sisters and neice and nephew came up for a few hours on Saturday! Besides getting a slight down pour for about 30 minutes on Saturday the weather was quite nice. Not too hot and not cold, but it was a little windy which made the water ruff. We had a ton of fun on Jason's new birthday toy.. another tube! Our friends pitched in a bought another tube and tube rope so we can pull two tubes together! It's quite the experience! We had tube wars, wakeboarded, skiied, knee boarded, and just swam. We also did a little hiking. It was an awesome weekend.
