More Boating!

One more post today! Monday night we decided to take the boat out to Hyrum. Well Max has never been boating and I wanted to see how he did so we brought him long! He loved it! Not the part about the 3 guys trying to get him in the water but everything else! I managed to get a few good pictures of the guy’s wakeboarding and wake skating while no one took pictures of me wakeboarding! L - What can ya do, a camera is not a guys favorite toy like it is a girls! So enjoy some fun pictures of Jason, Klay and Andy doing their stuff at Hyrum Dam, and a few of max as well! Weekend in Bear Lake!

We spent Saturday at Bear Lake and stayed over in the boat. Our neighbor had an open slip for his boat he wasn’t using at the marina so Jason and I camped in the boat for the first time and had a blast! As we pulled into Garden City we were meeting our friends at the Quick N Tasty to drop their cars off. Megan stopped at the gas station really quick and I kept thinking where is she? Well she called me and stays “Stac I’m kinda trapped here!” I’m like what? So I look across the street and yes, a truck and boat had pulled in right behind her car blocking her in! I know it’s hard to find parking when you have a boat because Jason complains about it constantly, but to block someone in? Come on! So we waited for the inconsiderate truck and boat to move so Megan could meet us. I mean really! Anyways, after we got to the Marina and were on our way it was so beautiful… but cold! The air temp was great and so sunny! But the water, well that’s always another story at Bear Lake. Needless to say only Klay and Jason got in the water and I didn’t get very many pictures other than Jason tubing but that’s ok because he had a blast!

On Friday my two best friends and I were able to go out to eat and catch up! Since Megan is heading off to Spain for a month we figured we’d better say hello and good-bye before she left! Back in high school Megan, Alexis and I were inseparable! Since high school I got married, Alexis had a baby and is planning a wedding, and Megan has a boyfriend and is busy with a career, so any chance we get to spend time together is treasured very much! We spent the evening at Café Sabor enjoying the good food, laughing, reminiscing the old times and talking about the newest plans and events. Megan’s friend Bonnie came along and Alexis brought the new baby so we could fight over her! The 5 of us at dinner!

Wakeboarding at Powell . . .

I forgot to mention we wakeboarded at Lake Powell... unfortunantely in order to get good smooth water we had to get up quite early!

Lake Powell

This past weekend we took a trip with our best friends to Lake Powell! What an experience! Lake Powell is not only huge but beautiful! There are monsterous cliffs and canyons as well as tonz of water! We didn't get to see even half of the lake, maybe a fourth but it was alot of fun! Did a little bit of wakeboarding, jet skiing and lots of boating! We even found some cliffs for cliff jumping. We camped right off the main channel and enjoyed the stay. But I have concluded if we ever go back we're going all out and getting a house boat. That's where the fun is!

This past weekend we went up to Oneida to camp and boat! It was a blast. The weather was pretty good and the water was COLD! We enjoyed it though. The Gang!
