Winter 4x4 Jamboree

We had so much fun at Winter 4x4 Jamboree. This was Kira's first jeeping event and she did awesome. I think she had fun or at least she said she did. She LOVED playing in the sand! It was nice to have her with us and she loved riding with Grandma and Grandpa too. She did amazing in the Jeep on the way down and going home. She was covered in Sand, enjoyed the raffle give-a-way and won some super fun items and she even let me take her picture! 

Andy and I had a blast. We actually loved the trails we went on and had a blast riding in the dunes. Andy loved the sand while I was a little leary after seeing a rig tip over going up the sand dune. Overall it was a blast and I had fun taking some pictures... and look. I'm actually in some :) 

We won a new bumper at the Raffle so I'm excited to get that installed on my jeep too.

Snowmobiling - Well Sort of!

We went for a quick Snowmobile ride yesterday. This time we headed to Hardware Ranch. It was beautiful but we were expected a lot more snow so that was a little bit of a bummer but we still had a great time and the sun was shining with blue skies. 

Beaver Mountain & Snowboarding!

Tuesday Night I went to Beaver with Steph and the Kids. I helped teach Jaycie and Dylan to Snowboard while Steph chased the little kids around!

Dylan did really good! He's brave and got up and was doing good. He wouldn't ride the lift and go down the mountain but he did great for his first time. 

Jaycie also did great! We went down the mountain and I think she then realized what she got herself into. It was fun though!

Fun with Friends

A Last week we went over to Mary and Layne's house for dinner and to just hang out with some good friends! Collin was there because Layne and Brady work together so kira loved that. We also go to hang out with Megan, Corey, Tobin and Ayden (spelling?). The kids loved Twister! 

Happy New Year!

Welcome 2015! We are ready for a new year at our house and have loved all of 2014 as well. 2014 brought some new challenges, happiness, experiences, opportunities and more. BUT, we welcome the new year and are super excited for what's in store for 2015. We celebrated New Years at my parents house with a house full of kids. We played in Shayna and Bradys' room with Collin's new toys. Kira had to wear her elsa dress AND her Minnie ears from Disneyland. The kids had a blast together. I love the picture of the 4 younger ones together. Kira and Steven are just a few months apart with Collin being a year younger and Taylie another year after that. BUT they get along great, for the most part. Steven likes to be boss, Kira likes to tattle, Collin is super sensitive and Taylie well she's just Taylie and loves being with the older kids. 

After we played upstairs for a bit we ate a yummy lunch and then played the "Candy Bar Game". It's basically the white elephant game with awesome candy/food stuff instead. The kids had a blast. Kira got Bubble gum which she loved! Steve had his cheetos, Collin got his sim sims (M&M's) and Andy and I got some yummy Twizzler treats and Butterfinger bites. 

If I haven't said it before I'll say it again. Kira hates pictures. She gets super annoyed that I try to get photos of her so she is either mad or does silly faces. Notice the photo bombers playing games in the background! 

We had Max with us and he had fun outside barking at the deer in the backyard.

One of my resolutions in Photography this year is to be in more pictures. I think I did fairly good on New Years! We even got a photo of Andy and I. Not that I look great but it's still a fun memory to have.  See my complete list of New Years Resolutions Here.
