This past weekend my family headed to Bear Lake for our annual family vacation. We had a blast! I am so happy the entire family was there! Andy and I took the boat up and were somewhat skeptical because in previous years the kids haven't wanted to go on the boat... well this year was totally different! We lived on that thing. It was so much fun. EVERY kid got on the tube, including all the little ones and Taylie who is a year old! ha ha. Bear Lake treated us so well, except for a little wind on Sunday which was actually really common. Kira came up on Sunday with us and loved playing in the sand, boat and with all the kids. Can't wait till next year :)

Relay for Life 2013- Race for a Cure
What a weekend it has been. Friday and Saturday I spend nearly all day at Relay for Life. It was a fun filled 24 hour event and though I loved every minute of it, I'm seriously glad it's over for another year. :)
Being the Team Development Chair has been a lot of fun and I've met more wonderful people than I can count. I'm truly humbled by all the people that donate and dedicate so much time to this great cause and fighting the battle of cancer.
My day started early Friday morning and ended late Saturday night. The event was wonderful and I was so happy to spend two days with my family and close friends. Andy and Kira even joined me for Friday and all of Saturday. Kira was so excited to camp over and she slept right through the Mountain Crest Drum Line at 6:30 in the morning. Wow, I couldn't even do that.
Team Fish Fight Raised $16,098.02 and managed to claim the top fundraising team of the event. We had 8 Grand Club Members (people who raise $1000 or more). We are an awesome team!
As a Relay Event we raised $96,485.01 so far and we are hoping to top $100,000 by the end of August!
Since pictures say 1000 words here's my Relay Story.
And finally my many Shirts of Relay! Grand Club, Hycomp, Committee, Team Captain, and Fish Fight.
