Halloween was a great Holiday for us. We dressed up for work as always! Andy and I were 50's Rockabilly Pin Up style. Andy was a sure Grease Monkey and I well, it was easy and semi cute. My cute niece and nephew stopped by work to bring me a treat (My favorite Pitch Black Mountain Dew). After work we ran home, changed and grabbed the dogs. We headed to Kira's mom's house to see her for a minute and show her the dogs. Dinner, Aunt Beth's house, Grandma Riggs' house and then off to Michelle's house. We hung out there while my sisters and their kids went trick or treating in the neighborhood. Then they stopped and said hi at Michelle's. Off home and to bed. It was a fun evening.

Halloween Mini
Every year I love capturing Kira's Halloween Costume. We did photos of her and her little brother, Robinton together this year. She is Maleficent and he is the Crow.
Pumpkin Walk 2016
Last night we met the Relay for Life Commitee at the Pumpkin Walk. It was a good time to get away from Relay topics and just enjoy being normal and looking at the awesome displays. I had a blast. Andy and Kira were on the agenda to come but we had to trade days with Kira's mom so Andy decided to stay home and work instead. I still had fun with my sistas!

A spooky Performance
Kira's annual dance performance for Halloween at LaShars was fun! She was a sugar skull queen. She decided the day before she wanted make up and a mask (her mom had already gotten her mask). When I started her make up we were going to avoid the eyes so her mask would go over but she refused to wear her mask. So I quickly did her eyes, sorta finishing in the car. Yikes. Halloween make up on a 6 year old is not that easy, plus a moving vehicle. Oh well, it was fun and she did great!
She loved that she was spooky.

Pumpkin Carving Fun
Last night we carved pumpkins as a family. Usually we carve pumpkins with the entire family and usually Kira lasts maybe 5-10 minutes, 15 at best. Other kids are just way more fun to play with, I can't blame her. But this year Andy and I decided to try it on our own at home and boy am I glad we did. SHE LOVED IT. Well We did too :) I actually pulled my DSLR camera out for the first time on a personal event in M O N T H S. #imnotkidding I tried a little bit of a new edit with some creeping/spooky mix. I meant to make these grainy so don't think I'm just up in the night. Playing with edits is FUN and I can't always do that with client sessions so our personal photos get be my guinea pigs.
