Wedding

My friend, Mary, whom I went to high school with got married on Saturday! The wedding was gorgeous. I'd never been to the Rider Mansion before and I loved it! Mary and Todd are headed to Tahiti for their honeymoon (I'm jealous!). Mary's little boy Kyler was so cute carrying the ring pillow! Congrats to the new couple!

Update on Max!

Max is so cute! He's definatly growing into a cute personality! Jason even plays with him! :) He is sleeping better at nights and is eating hard food. He's been able to climb up the stairs for a few days now. Also, yesterday he went down the stairs for the first time! He'll be getting into everything soon. He tags along and follows me everywhere around the house. He's got the cutest little weak bark! I'm sure he'll grow into a stronger one eventually but I love it! He's got this fetish for shoes! He loves jason's flip flops and he loves my pink slippers. He steals them and hides 'em under the bed. He thinks he's tricky! He's my little boy and I'm so happy we got him!

We BBQed one night and Max had to be invloved. I think we wore him out and this is where he fell alseep. Comfy huh?

Dance comes to an end . . .

Well dance is over for another year! The review went great! A little stressful as always but overall I was happy with the performances. Most of the classes learned an extra dance this past week or two and they all performed it well! I'll miss the girls for the summer but it's nice to have a life again! :) By the time August hits I'm ready for dance again. I'll miss the 3 girls heading to drill team and Sarah who made Cheer. They'll do great! Can't wait for next year!

My lucky sister!

Well my little sister is off adventuring in Hawaii! She's been there since the 25th of April and we're counting down the days till she comes home! (39 to be exact!) She's living on Oahu but this week they are on Kauai! How fun is that? Yes, I'm jealous! She's having fun as you can tell from the pictures! They've been hiking, seen waterfalls, swam in the ocean, swam across the ocean to China Man's Hat (a smaller island), been surfing, BBQing on the beach, and more! We really miss her back here in Utah but she's having the time of her life with 3 of her girl friends! We're just glad she calls! :)

New Puppy!

My new puppy! He's a Shorkie (Half Shitzu, Half Yorkie). He's adorable and has already got a cute personality! He's 6 weeks old today and will grow to be about 6 or 7 lbs. He's so fun! Taking care of a small dog is going to be harder than I thought but we'll worth it! His name is Max!

Happy Mother's Day!

Just wanted to wish all the mother's out there a wonderful mother's day! Here are a few pictures of how we spent mothers day! First we went to Jason's parents for a BBQ. Then we headed to my aunt's house for dutch oven! It was a great day!

New Baby!

My best friend had a baby girl yesterday (April 30th). She was 7 lbs 13 oz and was 20 inches long. Congrats to the mom and dad, she's adorable!

Schools almost out!

Well school's almost out after next week and I can't wait! I've had that school slum for the past month or so (really ever since I got back from Florida) so I'm really excited for summer to be here!

The weather this week has been crazy! Sunday Jason and I went fishing and we both got sun burned and were pretty red... two days later it's snowing! I can't believe it!

Dance Competition

Our first competition this year in Utah! The Energy Solutions Arena (Delta Center) sure was fun! We stayed over night in North Salt Lake and competed on Saturday! What a long day. We started at about 10 in the morning and the last dance performed at 8:30 at night! Our girls did very well though! Both hip hop dances got 1st, jazz and lyrical got 1st as well! The production (slinky and jump rope dances) tied for 1st but when they broke the tie we got 2nd! They did very well!

Happy Anniversary

Today is our 4 year anniversary... can you believe it's been that long! Time flys when you're having fun! That's what our marriage really is.. alot of fun! No kids yet and none on the way or on our minds but someday when we're ready we'll dive right into the family scene. As for us, celebrating our anniversary will take place this weekend. Jason is taking me to the Alaskan Inn up Ogden Canyon to stay over night. We get our own little cabin! I'm quite excited. It's been forever since we got away by ourselves! Hanging with our friends and family is always fun but sometimes we forget about our relationship and this weekend is time for us!

Newest Edition!

Jason and I recently bought a boat. It's our newest toy I guess you'd say and we can't be any more excited to get to use it! It's like a kid waiting for Christmas to arrive... summer better hurry! Last saturday Jason and our friend Klay spent about 4 hours (or so they say) cleaning and detailing it. I do have to say it looks good!

We are both really excited to have another boat. We will miss the jetskis but there's always something exciting about having a boat! We got a new wakeboard and bindings and are planning on getting a tube. Summer fun here we come! Now Stacey just needs to learn to back the truck or drive the boat really well! :)

Rhythm Connection Dance Groups - Florida Nationals Team

I just recently got back from Orlando, Florida. I went there with the dance group I teach for (Rhythm Connection) to attend the Contenst of Champions National Competition at Disney World... Which we did awesome at! We took 1st in Prop, 2nd in Jazz, 3rd in Hip Hop, and 3rd in Lyrical. Overall we took 1st in prop and 3rd in Jazz. I can't be happier! However, I do have to say that playing at Disney World was prob more entertaining than the competition it's self. Being away from Jason for 6 days was quite hard but I had a great group of girls to keep me on my toes!
Disney World consited of riding amazingly fun rides, eating, LOTS OF WALKING, laughing, getting a little sun, seeing many many characters, taking lots of pictures, and having a blast! This is a must repeat hopefully next year!
