Happy Easter...

We had a great Easter weekend! Saturday night we colored eggs and hollowed/blew eggs with our friends Andy and Misha. It was a great time. I can't remember the last time I colored eggs. I know it was before I got married at least 5 or more years ago, so this brought back some fun memories. We enjoyed a quiet evening with these two and had a blast. After Andy and Misha left we gave Max one of the hollowed eggs to play with. He'd put it in his mouth and be careful not to crack it - he was great! Then he got playing and rolling it around and accidently pawed at it.... and CRUSH! He didn't quite know what to think. It was funny.

Easter Sunday we spent with the family. It was a good day. First we started for lunch at my parents. The whole family was there. Lunch was great. Then the Easter Bunny had hidden eggs/gifts for the two grandkids. They had fun finding the treasures. I just enjoyed the sun and watched, and played with Max. He and Quincy had a blast together, like they always do. At about 4:30 we headed out to Smithfield to Jason's parents. I left my camera in the Car and didn't get any pictures. We had a yummy dinner, talked and watched a movie. My mother-in-law made some awesome Mud Pie, it was great! I love hanging out with both our families. We are so blessed to have them all so close.

Testing the Boat

Friday we decided to take the boat to Hyrum dam and test it out, making sure it was working correctly and that nothing needed fixed. Surely enough it ran... took a minute to start after a long cold winter but she works! She overheated a bit (weird, considering how cold it was) so she might just need an oil change. We were freezing but it was warmer this year than when we went out last year. We were also told that there's already been wakeboarding on Hyrum this year, nope it wasn't us either! Dang, last year we were the first. This year we got beat! I'm not bummed about it but I'm sure our boys are.

Yet another busy weekend!

Whew... Glad that weekend is over!

Thursday I went to Utah State University to an awards ceremony. I was awarded the Outstanding Student Teacher award for 2008 in the Health, Physical Education, Parks and Recreation department. They held a ceremony at the HPER building. It was nice to know that all my hard work during studnet teaching not only paid off for my studnets but I was recognized by the University. My professor, Roylane Wilson, was explaining the award and why I was getting it. She said that most studnet teachers will teach 3-5 units during their student teaching, however I taught 14. Half of which I was not prepared by the University to teach and had to research on my own. I didn't realize I taught that many units but I guess I did. It was also nice to have Jason, my mom, Shayna and Jason's mom at the awards ceremony with me.

Friday I worked from 8-3 at Hycomp and went straight to the dance competition that Jan (my dance boss) runs at the rec center in Logan. I was there till about 10 pm. This was the solo, and duet competition part.
Saturday I was back to the rec center by 7:45 am and was there till 7:15 pm. LONG DAY! I didnt' get very many pictures because not only were all our dances being competed I helped in what ever way needed running to the tabulation room, helping watch doors, etc. It was stressful and I'm glad that one is over! That night we ate at Andy and Misha's and then headed to our house for some Hot tubing. The guys ended up getting in while the girls gossiped. It was fun to just sit and talk.
I hadn't posted a picture of max in a while so here he is! Our little baby.

Busy Weekend...

This weekend went by way to fast! Here's a quick run down of my weekend

Friday - I went to lunch with two of my friends from Elementry school. It was SO good to get together! We were best friends in elementry school! Trissy lived a few blocks away and Laura lived across the street and down 2 houses. Laura and I went to high school together while Trissy went to Logan. We have stayed friends and kept in touch throughout the years and I miss these girls so much! Laura just had her first baby boy - he's adorable! Trissy just had her 3rd! She has a little girl, and then two boys! They are both amazing moms and I look up to them so much! I hope someday I'll be as good of mom as they are!

Friday night my dance girls performed at the Logan Hi-Lo Review and then Jason and I went to Cafe Sabor to celebrate our 5 year anniversary.

Saturday - I got up early and was at USU at 7:30 for our dance competition. I was there till 12:30. Then I headed down to Maddox to go to lunch for my Grandma's 76th birthday! After lunch I headed back up to USU for more dancing! My girls did performed awesome! I'm so proud of them! I left USU at about 8:30 pm. It made for a long day of dancing! Saturday night we BBQed at Andy and Misha's and hung out with our friends.

Sunday - We've been lazy and enjoyed the warmth of our house since it's snowed! We are both hoping for summer so we can go boating! SNOW SNOW GO AWAY!

10. He supports me in everything I do
11. He's a hard worker
12. Jason has a passion for snowmobiling and he gets giddy when he gets to go sledding
13. He is an amazing wakeboarder
14. He loves the water and boating
15. He has the best personality
16. he loves dogs
17. He cares about me
18. Jason loves life
19. He loves to laugh
20. Jason will make a great dad someday because he's great with kids and he is a kid himself.

I could keep going and make my list huge but those are just a few reasons why I love my husband. It's been an amazing 5 years of marriage. We've had alot of fun and have gone on a lot of adventures. Here are some pictures from our past.
